About The Artist

After many years of traveling, hiking, and developing my interest and skills in landscape photography, I discovered my truer love for intimate scenes in nature, especially inspired by the beauty of florals and botanicals.  While still loving mountain hikes or walks along oceanside trails and bluffs, my eyes are more concerned with framing the beauty found in the less noticed, diminutive wildflowers and plant life along the way. 

While in the field. whether working with full-sized digital cameras and macro lens, or smart phones, I find passion and inspiration in the fact that there is as much beauty in the tiniest flower as in the grandest of landscapes.

I hope that in translating the details of the lovely, very intricate flowers and the rhythms, patterns, and oddities of botanicals to pictorial representation that I can reveal what I consider the awesome, inspiring beauty that only God can accomplish in this world.  It has become a passion of mine to try to do just that.
